July Birthdays

Wishing all our July classmates a very happy birthday.

Went with my grandson to see Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium yesterday -- Lesson learned - in the movie Mr Magorium said he was not going to be "dead" and that his spirit lives on so he was just "departing" from this world to another place. So I have chosen to use that term from now on - "departed". What better way to honor our "departed" classmates than to remember that they did live, so I have included 2 of our "departed" classmates this month.

Brenda, you are a day after me. We could have toasted had we known! I have to share, Brenda started writing to me because we love animals. So we've been exchanging animal emails and then we find each other at the party and I learn that Brenda doesn't even remember me. I got a kick out of it because I thought she knew me (but she does now). I remember her from school. I love it when it all comes together!

I see that Jim Gersing has my birthday. I often wonder how he is. He was so ill several years ago. Does anyone know how he is doing? He was in Florida last I knew.

I was shocked to learn that Mike Eckert was gone. He seemed so vibrant. Was playing great games with us last year or was it the year before. I know he always wanted to find his girlfriend from high school (in our class but I can't remember her name). I guess it never happened.
