This month's lunch bunch will meet at Mimi's Cafe in Waldorf (Western Parkway) near Famous Dave's on Thursday, July 17th at noon. This is the first restaurant that we have scheduled a second time. Everyone really enjoyed the food last time we went there in March. Please come and join us for a nice visit and chatting time and good food. Hope to see you there.

Hi Bonnie, can you actually post an address. I'm not a Marylander anymore. I have no idea where western parkway is. I'm going to try to get off work but it is a crazy business I'm in. And thanks for telling Donna how much we love her. She keeps us young!

Hi Nancy. I'm not sure of the street number but here are the directions. You will get off the beltway at Rt. 5 (Waldorf). You will pass Cedarville Rt, Mattawoman Beantown Rd, Pinefield, and when you get in the heart of Waldorf, you will see signs to turn left to follow Rt. 5 to So. MD, there will be a Best Buy on the right, Checkers on the left, turn right at this light Rt. 228, get in your left hand lane, go past Red Robin on your left and turn at the next light, Western Parkway, stay in your left lane and turn left into the shopping center, Mimi's in in the front of the shopping center. It is brightly colored. See you on Thursday. Mike, glad you can make it, see you at Mimi's.

The lunch was fun. We had 11 at the luncheon. Dave Kipple, Anita Goodale, Cherie Martin, Timmy and Bonnie Maines, Mike Greene, Pat Young, Barb and Butch Essig, me, Nancy Purks. The food was good but the conversation and laughter were the main events of the luncheon, come and join us soon.

Food was very good and it was great seeing people in a setting where we could actually talk and remember and laugh. I have the feeling there is lots more we could share but rush hour was approaching and of course some of us got caught in it. I don't know how soon I can get back since I'm 10 years away from retirement! I learned that the part of Forest Heights where I lived (before moving to Kerby Hill) was known as the rich section. That was a surprise, little tiny houses attached to another. Those were the last two houses I ever lived in. I moved up (in elevation) ever since then. It was really nice meeting yesterday and there was room at the table for one more (who was missing, ummmmm).

ME!!!! I am jealous but yet so happy that you all get to meet monthly. I think that is why I loved the 60th birthday bash so much - we really got to sit around and chat with each other. Relive old moments at OHHS and our youth and where life has taken us since. It was such a special event. I would like to encourage any of our classmates or Clipper for that matter to attend the monthly meeting. Doesn't matter if you "hung" with any of these people in school or not. All are welcomed and encouraged to come have fun with at the Monthly Lunch Bunch. Lonely in Arizona

Oh you can't be lonely! You snagged one of those wonderful OHHS guys. Jack and Donna forever! Wish you could have been there Girl. Then we would have never left! Here's a hug even though you weren't there to get one [[[[[[Hug]]]]]]]

Thanks for the hug but were are the pictures. I guess I need to train someone back there to do the shots since I can't be there. Just put up the link of the June pictures. I am glad you all had a great time. Gus Perrotta was talking to me about another OHHS guy that has been married quite a few times. Gus said him and Sue (Caposella) had been married 30+ years (can't remember the exact number)and just couldn't understand the problem. Told him Jack and I have been married 42 years, Barb and Butch 41, Cherie Martin and Buddy 42 years etc. The common domoniator - this fellow had never married an OHHS gal. lol

That's the right common denominator Donna, John and I just celebrated our 41st. Our class knows how to hang on and not give up when we hit some bumps in the road.
