Geesh Brenda I know why it didn't pick you up. Have you been visiting here daily the last couple of days? We definately want to add you to the list. Some times it list a town close to where you are. When I logged on from Mom's home in Long Beach MS it came through as Pass Christian (next town to the west of Mom). Not an exact science but what it shows me.

Who is in Saco, Maine? Did some camping on the Saco River one time. Horses would just walk through the camp site. Very sweet. That explains Pass Christian. I remember it from the huricane.

Hi Gang - Yes, I also wish I knew who all these people are - there are some that I have figured out with their computer's ISP number but only a fraction of that list. The only people I know in Maine from our class are Donna McNeil, Kathleen Murphy and our friend Chris (Kit) Stultz who does visit us daily. Hello Chris - doing much fishing lately? This could really be a humming board if all these people would post on the board. Hey Dave - what are they sayingin your area for Fay? They had to evac the Grand Canyon today with helos because of flooding. Don't think I would want to be in the bottom of the Canyon with flooding - mighty high walls all around you.

Carol58 is in West Virginia too. And I'm in both Reston and Falls Church. Now who is in Lorton! So Kenny lives in Wilmington, NC. I hear they are making a lot of movies down there. Larry Hastings was one of my neighborhood boys, was cool back then too.

Fay?? It's 7am right now and the news says Tampa and St Pete will both be backwaters by Wednesday morning. Nancy..I can't guess who might be in Lorton these days, but I had a friend who was there for awhile in the early 60s...they let him out early for good behavior. I truly hope all of you Fla folks are safe and dry. Stay warm. dave wood

Yes Donna, I have to fess up, I do enjoy looking at the site on a regular basis. I had my home set up for wireless internet service a while back and I have a laptop that I use as I watch TV. My wife says I have A.D.D., and she's probably right, because I'm always on this thing. Anyhow, I enjoy being a fly on the wall and reading what everybody has to say and seeing what you guys are up to. I don't post very often unless I think I can add something. I was as surprised as you were when Judy Gordon responded to my apology. I hadn't seen or heard from her in over 50 years! This technology age is a great time to be around! Frank

Gosh Frank, is that what I have A.D.D. - I have the same symptoms as you!!! I couldn't ask for better company. Well, when I want someone to talk to I now know you are out there. When Judy posted her acceptance of your apology I figured it was one of our jokesters having fun. I still smile about that volly of comments back and forth. She and I emailed back and forth for a while, it was great to get to know her. If we ever decided to have a gathering down on Pawleys Island she is the one to contact.

I know this isn't related to the original topic on this thread but didn't want to start a new thread for a thought that just came to me. On my home page I have a section for daily inspirations - todays was "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." - Jim Rohn Now considering I spent most of my summer with my grandkids -their ages 12, 10, 8, 8 - now I guess I understand why my brain still feels young but the old body is far advanced.

As I said the other day, I've really gotten into the internet stuff. Last year my son created a web site for me as a Christmas present. It's geared toward my hobby. It was a lot of fun (and work) setting it up. Recently I had a few people actually look at it, so if anyones interested, you can see what my passion has been for the last 35 years. Here is the address, lets see if it works like a link or needs to be typed out. http://www.kentucky-rifles.com Frank

Unfortunately Frank this site doesn't let us do links. Unless something has changed since we set it up - need to go check on that. So people just do a copy and paste of Frank's link and you can view his page. I will be going to check it out this evening.

Nancy and Donna, Thanks for your kind comments about my web site. Many years ago I discovered that I could relieve the stress of my very stressful job by getting lost in making things. I've spent as long as five years working on a project and re-creating longrifles is just a small part of what I like to do. I've made German fraktors, done some painting and enjoyed re-creating many other forms of 18th century art. For some reason, unknown to me, this part of my life is free of A.D.D. Donna, I'm not sure what newsy notes are, but feel free to use me. Hey that sounds a little weird doesn't it. :>) Frank

That's an offer I can't refuse! lol Newsy Notes is that email I sent out with updates on who is doing what. So many of our classmates have such interesting lives, career choices, or hobbies. I have so enjoyed hearing from so many and thought others would like to hear about their classmates. Just like you - I had no ideal that you were interested in the Kentucky Rifles etc. You never know if there is another classmate out there that shares the same interest as you. Another NOTE: I was just thinking that you all might not know who "Wynn" is, that posted earlier. Wynn is Melita Wynn Meyer who married Steven Williams - another OHHS 65 couple.

Hey, Geezers Gals! (I think we need to change that name! I might look like a Geezer but I don't feel like I should be this old). Hope you have a great trip to the Carolinas. I am so sorry I can't make the trip this time. I will do my best to be there for the next trip - maybe in the spring? Sounds like a blast. Think of me while you are in Myrtle Beach shag dancing and slurping those margaritas and mint juleps!! Hope to catch you in Maryland in October. Maybe we can do lunch, for starters!! :) Be safe!!

I am packing as I write this. Looking forward to seeing the crew. Wish you could be there Jen. We need to plan something like Ocean City again for next summer. Where there isn't lots put on the reunion committee- everyone make their own reservations and pay for their own dinners etc. OC was such a very special time for me. I truly loved the interaction at that gathering.

Love the idea of having another OC get together or something like it. Spending time with everyone and getting to know them all over again was absolutely the best time ever. Loving retirement in Great Mills, MD. Barbara (Thornton) Myers
