brendabin 55 posts Sep 02, 2008 7:29 PM	All is well out here in the midwest. We finally got above 90 degrees today for a change! Sorry to hear about the uncertain weather down south and out East. John's cousin in Biloxi had no problems. The kids are back in school, thank goodness. I just returned from a 5 day retreat up in Hill Top WI. All I did was eat, sleep, and sew. I was able to finish up 3 quilt tops. I was going to take them to thr quilters' but must wait until I get my machine back from a cleaning and tune up in about 10 days so I can sew the backs together. I really enjoy hearing from you classmates. but wish more people would post. Thanks Donna for all you do. Be Well & God Bless!!Brenda
dfifeaz 856 posts Sep 03, 2008 6:45 AM	All is just fine out here in the west. Our monsoon season is coming to a close and we got decent amounts of rain from it. Yea! the lakes and streams are full. Had a few exciting wind/lightening storms too. The next 9 months usually are just beautiful out here. Chris how are things in Maine - will you work for LL Bean again this winter season? Would love to hear from some other classmates out there visiting.

The weather this year has been crazy. It is in the 90's here in LaPlata and I am relaxing inside. Kenny called and he is back in town. He said how much fun he had down South with the gorgeous geezer girls. Sounds like all is well with you Brenda and keep on quilting you are very talented. Had a great visit with my son & his family from Ohio over the weekend and loved seeing my grandsons. Wish more would post here it is so nice reading from everyone. Anita.... Did you ever know of a guy who first name is Alvin living down that way??? When we were in High School he drove a green station wagon? No he didnt attend OHHS...I cant remember offhand his last name. Any information would be appreciated...Thanks Carol

Bonnie Lee 5 posts Sep 05, 2008 4:41 AM	Anita knows everyone who was in the Oxon Hill, SE Washington area when we were young. She amazes me with her memory. All is well here except the president of the property owner's association e-mailed everyone to say that Hanna is supposed to be something to reckon with this afternoon thru tomorrow morning.
