We are here with Mike Anderson in SC. Hit the Dead Dog last night for a few twirls around the dance floor. Great to be with friends.
Have a great day.

OMG! The Dead Dog will never be the same. (Love that place!) I am sure they just can't wait for your return. There will be posters up w/your pix before too long, I bet. I'm glad you're having a good time and that "Danny" did not interfere with your plans. Be safe and I'll catch up with y'all for the next trip!! Mike, I'm wearing my Pawley's Island hat today in your honor! :)

Yes, I do have a few pictures. lol
Saturday night we stayed at Mike's and cooked a wonderful dinner. Then we did get out the cards and played tripoly. And yes we had many many laughs.

Today we hit the beach for about 3 hours - we are now showered and ready for our next outing. Going to dinner at Gulfstream.

I treasure these moments with friends.

We went to Gulfstream on Sunday night for a delicious dinner and then had some fun at Kenny's. We woke up Monday morning to a torrential downpour and left Mike's and headed back to Karla's, stopped on the way for a wonderful breakfast at Cracker Barrel, Really enjoyed our day in Wilmington, went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and played a competitive game of Phase 10. On Tuesday, we left for home and to get back to normality. It was a great trip. Everytime we all get together we have alot of fun. I love all my GGG cronies and feel so close to each and every one of them. We missed our Bahama Mama this trip and know she will be with us in the trips to come.

My house is awful quiet and lonesome. Even Penny and Paddington are complaining. Miss all of you heaps! Had a blast and look forward to the next GGG adventure. A safe and happy Labor Day weekend holiday to all. Karla

That makes me sad. Too bad we aren't wealth and could fly whenever we wanted. Would love to have you out here with me for a bit. Give Penny and Paddington a kiss - Austin and Bre loved the pictures of them. I love our pictures.

Sent Frank a copy of the pics - HE now wants to be a GGG. lol No, his reply was sweet - hope you don't mind me sharing a bit of your email Frank.

Donna, Thank you for showing me the pictures, Bonnie and I really enjoyed them (and laughing). Bonnie said that it looked like you guys are having so much fun it made her wish she was there.

You can look at the pictures and see the happiness and warmth everyone has for one another. I'm glad we have all reconnected, I think we are fortunate to have each other back in our lives.

Thanks again Donna, Bonnie and I want to come along next time, maybe we can have another class get together in South Carolina!

Frank

I agree with Frank - I would love to see a rerun of a visit to SC again next April. We all had such a great time. I know Jack would love to do it again. He would probably be looking for that young chick at Scotty's to do the shimmy with. lol

If not then - we will be together in Sept for our 45th - get you dancin shoes ready.

Our house is very quiet too. Penny and Paddington are so adorable. I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day and I hate to see the end of summer.

Loved the pix! Wish I could've made the trip this time with all the GGG's. Maybe we could plan a trip sometime when the Shag Dance Clubs are in Myrtle Beach for their semi-annual blowouts - May/October. I think the OHHS Clipper's retirement home should be in the Myrtle Beach area!! Miss y'all!! :)

We need to have a big shindig in the spring again. It will help us get through the winter. Jack can out shimmy anyone. Everybody just get ready to party in the spring and again next fall at the 45th.

Who would truly be open to having a get together in SC next April?

Count me in! It is always a good time when the OHHS '65 alumni get together. (Who would've thought that after all these years we would be able to just pick-up where we left off in '65 and keep the good times going?!) The Low Country (or Ocean City, MD) & great friends - great combo! I need to brush up on my Shag dancing, though! :)

Of course, I am. I love the Carolinas. The Day's Hotel in Surfside was great, very convenient. I suggest that we have a long weekend there again in late April. We have Scottie's in the parking lot, our hospitality corner at the pool and our favorite waitress at the hotel restaurant, what more could you ask for.

When we make our reservations, we have to request the same corridor, so Sticky can have Room 310. That is your room Mike and we will try to get the same corridor at Solomons for the reunion next September.

Mike, we will be sure that you ALWAYS have room 310 no matter what floor we are on. Now where did I put my paint...................

I hope next time they will put Jack and I with the general population instead of the top floor, unless you all are up there too.

We will all stick together. One for all and all for one. We will not be separated anymore.
