A suggestion for anyone looking for a neat thing to do in the fall. We just did the Virginia Creeper Trail for the first time this week. The trail is a 17 mile DOWNHILL bicycle ride through an absolutely beautiful valley, mostly alongside a raging trout stream. You rent a bicycle in Damascus Va and they transport you to the top of the mountain, @3,700'. You are then on your own schedule to come down. There are several lunch and site seeing stops along the way as well as a multitude of pic nic stops. For those not day tripping there are a multitude of B&B's in Damascus and Aberdeen.

Joe, this sounds like a wonderful journey, and like you said, It's all downhill. Hey, I think I can still do that. Told Jack about it and he said he would love to do this next year. Anybody else up to this?
