Well the Doctor says my wife has H1N1 flu, nasty stuff! She's had a fever, sore throat, chills, body aches, ect for five days now. Has anybody out there had this stuff yet and know how long it lasts? Stay healthy!

I am so sorry to hear this Frank. I know you are taking good care of her. Make her some good homemade chicken soup. I have heard of cases around us but I didn't personally know anyone with it. I guess that other flu out there isn't fun either - my Mom's neighbor that that-said it wasn't H1N1 but she was down for over a week. All the same ffects that Bonnie has. Give Bonnie my love and take good care of her and yourself.

Get Well wishes to Bonnie. I know there are alot of cases now in WV areas. I got the regular flu shot, but not so sure about the H1N1 yet. Most of what Iam hearing is it is affecting the younger people and children. Any comments from you all would love to hear.

Just take good care of Bonnie, Frank. My 6 year old grandson has been sick since Thursday with a tummy ache, fever, chills. The doctor said he has post sinus drip and a cold. He didn't even take a blood test. He is still sick. It isn't a two or three day thing. Tell Bonnie, I hope she feels better soon.

Well her fever broke during the night, so the fever part lasts about 6 days. Now she has this bad cough and it seems it's settling in her chest, hopefully that will clear up in a few days as well. At least she's on the downhill side of this thing. As I said before, this is a very nasty virus. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, then it's my turn! At least it will all be out of the way before Mike gets here. That's the last thing he needs. Then on the other hand, I could come to the luncheon alone and give all of my female friends a big hug and a kiss. :>) Better not threaten that, nobody will show up!

Was watching a report on the H1N1 last night and it is a scarry bug. They all seems to report that you think you are starting to feel better then you go back down again for a couple of days then finally start to truly get better. Even the gal next to mom, who was told her she didn't have n1h1 had that same roller coaster. she thought she was better, went to church, then was down again for 2 more day then then all of a sudden she knew she was on the road to recovery. Sending healing thoughts Bonnie's way. Sure hope you don't come down with it Frank.

Hey Don, She woke up this morning feeling about 90% back to normal. So it took a little over a week for that to happen. Her Doctor was telling me that those of us over 60 may have some sort of partial immunity caused by a flu shot we received years ago. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get it! Stay well guys, and as Dusty stated so eloquently, "stop kissing pigs"!

Frank sounds great. I wish I woke every morning feeling 90% back to normal. But I guess I should not think normal is how I felt when I was 25.

Your a funny guy Kenny! Actually I had a fondness for pigs as well, but that was mostly in the late 60's and early 70's!

Dusty, I think "Foot in mouth" disease might be better than "Mad Cow".
